You can do it only on the website orobieultratrail.it in the registration section, after reading the rules and registations procedures.
CAN I REGISTER ON THE DAY OF THE RACE?
No, check the terms by reading the regulation.
I’VE TRIED SIGNING UP AND AFTER SENDING MY DETAILS THROUGH THE FORM ON THE WEBSITE I HAVEN’T RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION EMAIL, WHY?
If you typed in your email properly you should have received the message. Try checking your inbox’s Spam folder. If you can’t find it there either, we invite you to write to iscrizioni@outbg.it
WHICH ARE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PARTICIPATION TO GTO, MTO or BGUT?
the conditions are 2: have at least 18 years (already completed on the day of departure of the event) and be in possession of a valid medical certificate as per the specifications of the regulation.
I SIGNED UP YESTERDAY BUT I DON’T SEE MY NAME IN THE STARTING LIST, WHY? DID I MAKE A MISTAKE?
It depends: your name will appear in the starting list only once you complete the payment step. In the case of a PayPal payment it will appear right away, while if you make a money transfer you must first send the TRN or the digital copy of the transfer document via email to iscrizioni@outbg.it. In this case it will take a few days for the race office to verify that the transfer has gone through properly.
I HAVE COMPLETED A TRAIL RUNNING COMPETITION BUT IT DOESN’T SHOW UP ON THE ITRA OR DUV WEBSITES. WHAT CAN I DO?
It is up to who signs up to prove the participation by sending to the organization the source to check for the actual participation in the race (e.g. the link to the race rankings).
IS GTO CERTIFIED AS AN M OR L RACE?
According to the I-Tra’s race index, Gran Trail Orobie is considered an M race, meaning under 70km, but according to our measurements it is 70km therefore in the L category. For the access to OUT it will be considered by us as an L race.

No, the legible A4 photocopy of the original certificate must be delivered to the race office during the bib collection.
MY CERTIFICATE EXPIRES ON JULY 15TH 2016, CAN I SIGN UP ANYWAY?
Yes, but during the bib collection phase you must bring a certificate valid at the days of the event.
I HAVE A MEDICAL CERITIFICATE FOR ALPINE SKIING, CYCLING, TRIATHLON, FOOTBALL. IS IT OK?

I AM A FOREIGN RESIDENT AND I RUN FOR MY COUNTRY’S FEDERATION AND THEY DON’T REQUIRE A CERTIFICATE. WHAT MUST I DO?
To participate in the Orobie Ultra-Trail® races you must have a medical certificate even if the federation you are part of doesn’t require it. Therefore it is necessary to ask a certified medical center for a document that states good health to practice light athletics/skyrunning/trail running.
MY CERTIFICATE IS VALID FOR SKYRUNNING, IS IT OK?
Yes
THE GOOD HEALTH CERTIFICATE IS OBLIGATORY ALSO FOR BERGAMO URBAN TRAIL?
Yes, you can not participate without a certificate valid on the date of the race.
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
I HAVE A JACKET I USE WHEN I RUN IN COMPETITIONS OR IN TRAINING BUT I DON’T KNOW IF IT’S BREATHABLE AND WATERPROOF, HOW CAN I KNOW IF IT’S OK?
See point 9 MANDATORY EQUIPMENT in the official regulation.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WATER-RESISTANT, WATER-REPELLANT, RAINPROOF, WINDPROOF, WATERPROOF? WHICH ONE IS OK FOR THE COMPETITION?
Water-resistant (or water-repellant or rainproof) jacket: it’s a jacket that protects from water but is not waterproof. It’s not suitable for the competition. A windproof jacket is one that protects the body from the air but not from water. It is not suitable for the competition. A waterproof jacket is one that doesn’t allow liquids to pass through the fabric. It keeps the body dry after various hours in the rain (how many hours depends on the certified specs – inches of water).
I SAW YOU REQUIRE A GORE-TEX® JACKET WITH AT LEAST 20K INCHES OF WATER. I ASKED MY SHOP CLERK AND HE TOLD ME THAT MY JACKET IS CERTIFIED FOR 10K INCHES OF WATER, DO I HAVE TO CHANGE IT?
No, it’s just fine. The 20K inches of water jacket is recommended, not mandatory.
I HAVE A WATERPROOF RAINCOAT. CAN I USE IT?
No. Although raincoats are waterproof unfortunately they are not breathable. Intense physical activity with a raincoat, despite the rain, can lead to dehydration as the skin doesn’t breath.
I HAVE A JACKET WITHOUT A HOOD ATTACHED. CAN I USE IT WITH A HAT?
Only if you have a waterproof and breathable hat with protection for the nape and you can wear it so that the rain can’t go in through the jacket’s collar.
EVEN WHO RUNS THE GTO MUST HAVE THE MANDATORY EQUIPMENT?
Yes: the risks are the same even if the trail is shorter.
WHAT ARE RAINPROOF PANTS? MUST THEY BE WATERPROOF? CAN I USE LEGGINGS?
Rainproof pants go down to the ankles and protect from wind and rain. They don’t necessarily need to be waterproof. Even “Motorcycling” pants are just fine. Running leggings are not suitable.
IS REQUESTED MANDATORY EQUIPMENT FOR BERGAMO URBAN TRAIL?
Yes, see the regulation in step 9.
